Challenge

Nexius entered the market with several foundational challenges:

  1. Zero brand awareness — Nexius was starting entirely from scratch, with no existing audience, recognition, or presence in the market.

  2. Early-stage positioning — As a new product in a complex category (AI-powered financial automation), the market had low understanding of what Nexius could actually do.

  3. Limited resources — With a lean early-stage team, Nexius needed a growth strategy that was efficient, scrappy, and high-leverage without heavy reliance on large budgets or manpower.

Approach

The core of our strategy centered on building a content engine, with a strong focus on a UGC persona that could speak to MSMEs in their own tone, frustrations, and reality.

UGC Persona Strategy (Primary Growth Lever)

  • Created a dedicated UGC-style TikTok account: @dayinmayalife, designed to feel like a real person with accountant as a persona

  • Produced relatable skits, roleplays, and daily-life storytelling that mirrored true MSME pain points

  • Used humor, authenticity, and POV-style scripts and make the product feel like a natural part of someone’s routine.

  • Ensured the persona acted as a “bridge” between the user’s emotional pain points and Nexius’s practical benefits without feeling salesy.

Supporting Content Engine

  • Built @nexius.id on Instagram as the official educational account for demos, feature explainers, use cases, and value highlights.

  • Synced UGC content with brand content so audiences could move naturally from relatability → curiosity → education → conversion.

Impact

The UGC persona channel scaled rapidly from zero, producing 54 content pieces that reached 2.4M views and generated 136K engagements. It attracted 6,500 profile visits, built an early community of 366 followers, and delivered a standout 83% Linktree click rate
